I drink alcohol every day

And I don’t have a problem with it.

And I think America’s minimum legal drinking age is kind of silly.

I run every day too; 60–70 miles a week. This afternoon I will do my usual Sunday long-run, about 16 miles. When I’m done, one of the first things I’ll do at home is open a can of beer. It will be like magic, like an orgasm. I wrote a separate note about my love of beer and how it impacts running (or doesn’t).

Not that my running shape of which I’m very proud justifies the drinking but there is a certain lifestyle which I’m used to…
