Most of the credit goes to the company I’m about to mention, not me.

But I’m still proud of being part of this story.

I started my career two decades ago in investment banking and then detoured, attempting many different things. In the last year and a half, I returned to my “roots”, as I worked part-time for a boutique advisory company.

Most of our work has been in the renewable energy and sustainability space.

This deal in particular took a while but we all made it to the finish line:

Eneus Energy is a green ammonia developer. Green ammonia (“green” because it is produced using renewable energy) can be used in many places — from fertilizers to shipping fuel. It can also be used to transport green hydrogen, that’s often seen as the main clean fuel of the future. The problem with hydrogen is that it’s not dense so it’s very difficult to transport.
