Why, why do women have plastic surgeries?
In my profile, I describe myself as being multi-niche. With this story, I’m about to confirm this claim! Yes, I’m sticking my nose into something I probably shouldn’t — women’s bodies! Please forgive me.
But let me explain why. First, I feel strongly about it. Life is full of contradictions and ambiguities. However, some things are unambiguous — to me anyway. Recently I wrote about one such thing — running. You never regret a run. I’m a running enthusiast so of course, I will use every opportunity to discuss running. This was a very concrete point though — if there are any unambiguous, undebatable, unquestionable lessons I’ve learned in my life journey (life journey — not just running), it’s that — you never regret a run.
Now, let me switch gears. I mean really switch gears! Let me throw #2 on this list of unquestionable (in my eyes) truths of life.
I’ve never-ever, not in real life, not on the movie screen, not on the cover of a magazine seen a woman who looks better post plastic surgery.
Never.
Never. Ever.
They all look uglier. Period. The world's beautiful women made themselves uglier through plastic surgeries. I’m not talking about the tabloid “plastic surgeries gone wrong” photo collections. I’m talking about any instance when you see any woman who’s clearly had things done to her face or body. My reaction is always that of disgust and disappointment.
