- A world-famous tourist destination where visitors could enjoy a short weekend getaway to eclectic and forever-buzzing Moscow or beautiful Saint Petersburg or spend weeks traveling across the country’s nine time zones, visiting what could have been the world’s most famous system of National Parks (think of National Parks in the US), spanning wilderness, mountain ridges, skiing resources, beautiful lakes, and geysers.
- One of the most attractive places for higher education, science, and innovation.
- A country where “diversity” is not a buzzword but truly defines its ethnic composition and forever evolving, forever young, national identity.
- The world’s most prolific hub for entrepreneurship; unique in how it could bridge the business cultures of “the West” and “the East” (because Russia is both in Europe and Asia!).
- An example for the ages of how a nation can overcome its violent past and struggles and become a peaceful and prosperous country, leading the world by example.
- Dominating the world of sports (in a clean way!), with its athletes being role models for millions of kids globally.
- The world’s capital for arts and culture, carrying its historic legacy on these fronts forever into the future.
- A nation driving the transition to clean energy. I’m not saying stop drilling oil and gas. It’d be too naïve considering how rich Russia is in its natural resources. But use the wealth generated to solve climate change…
