What if we were our own best work?
I came across a very profound video recently. I’ll post the link shortly, but I wanted first to acknowledge my mistake. In one of my recent stories, I bashed Bryan Johnson, an entrepreneur who’s trying to reverse aging:
I had scanned a few sensations headlines about him (a tech millionaire spends xyz dollars a year to reverse his age), looked at a few pictures where he looked a little weird, and concluded that he’s a narcissistic freak.
I then started following him on Instagram. It was almost by accident. A couple of videos caught my attention, and I started following him.
My initial judgment was wrong.
Bryan Johnson is anything but a narcist. Yes, what he does can appear freakish — all the measurements, experiments, and intake of pills, but he's on a genuine unselfish mission — to develop a protocol that can help reverse aging. “Don’t die” is one of the catchy phrases you’ll come across if you look at his stuff.
