There is one billionaire I actively despise

I’m not proud of it. It’s not in my nature to be bitter, cynical, jealous, or judgemental. Negative emotions hurt no one but me. Criticizing other people is a sign of a small mind.

But this one guy… I can’t help it.

And probably my mind is small indeed, compared to his!

Let me start by saying that I use the billionaire's product every day. Actually, this product is fine. It helps me connect with my friends, ex-colleagues, and relatives across continents and decades. For that I’m grateful.

Well, you’ve guessed it by now. No suspense. I’m talking about Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg. Oh, Sorry Meta.

I find Mark Zuckerberg annoying. Not Bezos, not Musk, but Zuckerberg.

Why?

The guy is the biggest virtue signaller the world has ever seen. A hypocrite too.

Evolved — maybe through hard work, maybe through luck — from rating college girls to building a successful social media product — well done. No sarcasm, we all mature, we all get lucky sometimes.

Selling my data (and that of billions of other users) to vendors, legally, illegally, or through negligence? That’s fine too. Kind of. If one has a virtual presence of any kind one should understand the risks involved. It’s not great, but I accept it.

But the dude’s self-righteous posturing irritates me. Go to Facebook, take a few minutes, and scroll through Zuckerberg's…
