The only two ways Putin’s regime ends

This is going to be a bit of plagiarism.

One of the most influential people in my life is someone who doesn’t know that he’s influential in my life. Mikhail Kozyrev is a Russian radio producer and music critic. Here on Wikipedia if you can read in Russian. In recent years Mikhail also authored a number of programs on Russia’s independent TV channels (now all shut down by Putin’s regime).

As you can probably guess Mikhail is very liberal and critical of Putin’s regime and he has been for years, not just now when the circumstances are extreme, like now. I follow Mikhail on social media (mostly Facebook). Like many other people, Mikhail fled Russia this year.

When I say “influential”, I’m not, however, referring to Kozyrev’s political views though I totally share them. Mikhail founded Russia’s first FM radio station in the early nineties. I love Western pop and rock music dearly. Kozyrev played a key role in how I navigated the world of music, both Western and Russian when I was a teenager. Because of Mikhail, I know who Casey Kasem is! I listened — in Moscow — to his charts rundown show every Sunday. I learned English by listening to Casey!

A couple of days ago Facebook notified me that Kozyrev commented on someone’s post.

This is the original post (translated from Russian; I don’t know the author; for quickness, I use Google translate so apologies for the imperfections).
