The most staggering observation about Lucy Letby (the “serial baby killer”).

I wasn’t aware of this situation, but I read about it this morning, and it occupied my mind ever since.

The nurse murdered seven babies and attempted to kill even more. My initial thoughts were similar to when I read about other serial killers (Ted Bundy, for example). I wondered about the origins of these people’s deranged minds. Were they born evil or insane? If so, where is God?

But then, this thought journey took an unexpected twist. I have a messaging group with three close Russian friends (mentioning “Russian” these days leads to discussing the more obvious topics, but this note is different). We share all kinds of news, thoughts, and memories. Today I shared the link above, asking if they’d seen this incredibly dark news.

One of my friends replied this:

“I think that these killings, and the failure to report (and, more generally, the failure to notice) — it’s the consequence of late-stage abortions.”
