But recently I read a couple of “About me” stories and loved them. I think strangers are underrated. That’s why I love Medium. We’re all strangers. It’s kind of anti-Facebook (friends only!), not that I loath Facebook.
Here is a shoutout to a stranger Charles Haines! you’re a stranger following me and I’m a stranger to you following you. I loved your “Let’s get to know me story”!
So a few notes about me. Actually, I drafted close to 100K words about my life journey. Yes, a memoir. I’m that full of myself. I called it “A Russian”. It’s a coming-of-age story, a love story, and an account of my various travels, an exploration of my Russian and not-so-Russian identity. One day, if I’m very drunk, I’ll see if I can post it as a single story and crash Medium servers.
