My teenage’s son right (conservative) views are growing stronger by the day

It’s fascinating to observe — how my child’s character and set of views develop irrespective of my influence (or, more generally, our influence as a family). It’s not good or bad. It’s just the reality. In some ways, it’s a humbling experience: suddenly you have someone you’re very close to, who you love, who has a view of the world that’s very different from yours. It’s a little weird that it’s not your parent, not your partner, but it’s your teenage son. Granted, he’s all grown up — off to college shortly.
