Some were learned the hard way

  • Our brains are full of angels and demons. There is a mental health problem in each one of us, even the seemingly healthiest and happiest ones. Sometimes it’s like a minor cold, sometimes a flu, sometimes — a full-blown fucking pneumonia that requires ER.
  • Don’t say, do. Be quiet about a lot of things that are in the making, in life or work. Cause most won’t see the light of day. The pain is a little less if you haven’t shouted from the rooftop about your things in the making.
  • Even when you consider yourself humble, your ego is still fucking huge. It wants to fuck the universe. The problem is that, in the end, the universe fucks it.
  • Don’t name-drop. A lot of people, not just you, know someone powerful, rich, or famous directly or indirectly. It doesn’t mean shit.
  • Don’t expect everyone — that includes your parents and partner — to always be your unconditional cheerleaders. They won’t always and they won’t unconditionally. It’s fine; the love is still there.
  • Your relationship with your parents goes through spectacular cycles.
  • What works once, most likely won’t work again. You might’ve won a lottery ticket with some decision in business or personal life, but the magic is unlikely to repeat.
  • Having a daily habit of some sort helps to stay mentally healthier.
  • Agitation and excitement over…
