I’ve established this peculiar pattern of eating and am happy with it

Maybe it’s because of running, though I’m not sure. I’ve been running a lot in the last two and a half years. Running is my life’s biggest hobby. I run every day. I’m currently doing about 65 miles a week. I am hoping to improve my PB of 2 hours 49 minutes in my next marathon.

I used to weigh 190 pounds. I then lost thirty pounds nd have maintained my weight for a couple of years now.

The way I eat is not because I try to eat in some particular way. I mean I don’t follow any diet or anyone’s recommendation. I eat what feels right to me, to my body and brain.

First, let me be a bit of a jerk and mention how I hate stories about intermittent fasting. Shut up already about intermittent fasting. I have nothing against it but there are too many stories. I absolutely can’t imagine myself doing intermittent fasting.

So…

I have two breakfasts!

I do sometimes run on an empty stomach but I often run in the evenings so I don’t run on most mornings.

So when I get up I always have a full-blow breakfast. Three fried eggs with toast or a big bowl of oats with honey and nuts. It doesn’t matter whether I get up at six or eight. I have a proper breakfast (and lots of black coffee). I eat immediately or very soon after I get up.

An hour or two later I am already damn hungry! So I have my second breakfast. It’s breakfast because usually…
