Interstellar is the best movie of my life.

I was going to take a break from writing today, but then I came across one of my connection’s social media stories where they used Hans Zimmer’s Interstellar soundtrack. Maybe it’s a coincidence, but lately, I’ve heard too many people use the theme for their stuff. For example, the carnivore-diet influencer Paul Saladino in his Thanksgiving post. What?! Why use this beautiful music created for an epic space movie for a social account promoting meat?

But I don’t mean to rant. I found the theme on YouTube and replayed it this evening, it in its entirety several times. It’s still playing right now, as I am writing this.

I then watched another video that recapped Interstellar.

I liked this synopsis, but I didn’t need to be reminded of the greatness of this movie — I rewatched it just several months ago.

A masterpiece that’s aging well, and I can imagine how it will continue to stay timeless even against the background of all the extraordinary…
