I’m adjusting my marathon target later this year from 2h49min to 2.45
I signed up for the Chicago marathon in October of this year. I will try to run some smaller marathon in May as well.

Because I’m getting better. My 2.57 a few months ago now feels mediocre.
Not that every one of my daily runs is a new record but I’m improving. Some runs are mediocre. I’d sometimes run on tired legs and struggle to imagine how I’d run 26 miles at a sub 6.30 min/mile pace.
