Florida is trying to befriend me

She knows well my best mate is California but she’s still trying to be friends with me.

For one thing, my youngest son is obsessed with fishing. Before even having breakfast, he steps out to a local canal in our community and almost always catches something. Sometimes his catches are huge! Before going to bed he fishes too.

California is a damn desert, becoming ever-dryer! No fishing in California!

Tim’s twin sister is progressing with her tennis journey. The whole move to Florida was to help her tennis. She goes through ups and downs but she just won one of the draws of the national clay tournament.

My teenage son is OK with Florida. Neutral. He’s a tennis player too but he’s been recovering from a shoulder injury and surgery.

My oldest teenage son is in California. That’s what keeps me coming back to California, notwithstanding the fact that I always come back to California in my mind and soul!

My wife is fine with Florida. As I said, the plan was to help our daughter and so far that plan is working out.
