Florida is America’s ugliest state
All right, I haven’t been to all fifty states, but I’ve been to many. Nothing comes close to Florida’s ugliness, in my opinion.
Yesterday I was landing in Fort Lauderdale. Ugly. I should’ve taken some pictures. Ugly. Endless swamps. Perfectly flat swampy landscapes, occasionally interrupted by lines of concrete or asphalt — highways and roads.
You step out of the airport in Florida and there is unabating heat and humidity. I actually like hot weather and I guess “hot and humid” shouldn’t count towards “ugly” but in Florida it somehow does.
