Boston terriers are the best!

I could’ve structured this story differently — build up suspense and then reveal the breed! That way, more people would’ve scrolled down, Medium would’ve recorded more “reads”, and I would’ve made a couple of extra bucks! Perhaps though you will still scroll down anyway and look at some very cute pics! Be warned — a couple were photoshopped by kids. They have a lot of fun using some app to distort the images of the dogs they so much love and who love them so much!

I have two Bostons. A boy Lucas, 6 years, and a girl Astra, just over a year. These are the reasons why I love the breed so much.

• Very low maintenance. Little hair and very easy to travel with. We travel a lot for kids’ activities and can fit two dogs in any car without sacrificing any space and comfort. Easy to fly with too. Easy to feed. Both dogs were extremely quick to learn — as tiny puppies — to pee and poo outside.
• Great temperament. Very active but they adjust to you. They can play till they can barely breathe or they can be lazy and sleepy if that’s how you’re feeling. My dog Astra is crazy about tennis balls. She recently started attacking — jumping on you and licking your face, if you don’t throw the balls she brings to you. But in the morning she’s the laziest dog ever, liking to sleep in! Her tennis ball routine is mainly reserved for the evening.
