At night Tony Robbins kills kittens and eats babies
I consider myself a non-judgemental, empathetic person. I’m so full of shit and sin that I always see good in other people and avoid criticizing them.
But… Life coaches? Motivational speakers? I’m so-so prejudiced against them.
Never been to Tony Robbins’s show. But I just can’t get rid of the perception of the guy using his public speaking skills to say the most cliche useless stuff.
Let’s google “Tony Robbins’s quotes”.
Without going into any particular website, I get this:
Tony Robbins: 19 Inspiring Power Quotes for Success
- “Identify your problems, but give your power and energy to solutions.”
- “Your past does not equal your future.”
- “The path to success is to take massive, determined action.”
- “Live life fully while you’re here. …
- “It’s not knowing what to do; it’s doing what you know.”
I mean, fuck, that’s wisdom. Who would’ve imagined that power should be given to solutions, not problems? Who would’ve thought that the path to success is not through weak, indecisive action but through massive and determined action?
The last one is especially powerful. Now I understand why people pay money to hear Tony Robbins. I’m trying to get my head around its profoundness: “It’s not knowing what to do; it’s doing what you know.”
