All right, I'm going teach one of Media's biggest bloggers (you Tim) on something. I have four kids. 17,15, twins almost 11 years old. I'm pretty young by the way (early forties). My advice - don't plan on teaching your daughter anything. Just enjoy it. Enjoy the ups and downs of parenting. Expect some struggles. The teaching thing is fine but it doesn't have to be that explicit, that intentional. The kids need to figure things out on their own and it's not the teaching per se that will matter but the numerous interactions and diverse situation, and jpw you as a family handle them
