A year since we got our green cards and it still feels like the honeymoon

I know it’s a bit lame to repost my own stories but this one is worth it.

A year ago! Not much to add to the story that I wrote. To live is to suffer… Then a celebration of a lifetime! There was once a huge cloud hanging over us and now no longer.

There are always some clouds hanging over you but some are bigger than others.

I mean it — it still feels like the honeymoon. The sense of profound gratitude is still there.

A huge amount of work ahead for our entire family and me especially to live a life that brings value to others, and that earns respect.

We will do our best.

Love and peace to all.

A bit of a cheesy picture, but a fitting one. A few months ago I visited Washington DC with my youngest son and it was a lovely trip!
